Petition Action

Reduce fees for online lectures

Petition Details

Fees for university and HE college students recieveing online lectures in the next academic year due to coronavirus should have their fees reduced. Online lectures are NOT what students are paying thousands of pounds for.

Additional Information

I believe that having online lectures takes away from the university experience and will impact the level of learning and the end result. Online lectures do not justify the price that students are charged.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The fees universities charge are a matter for individual universities, and not the Government or House of Commons.

If your university course is affected by coronavirus in the next academic year, you could start a petition calling on the Government to reimburse all or part of your tuition fees.
