To reform the legislation to make the CSA more effective and efficient in the assessment and collection of monies from non-resident parents or parent with care. Reduction in the time taken to make assessments of all parties involved. Greater powers to collected monies due for children. The introduction of a time limit from beginning to end of whole process of no more than 18 months. Legislation that puts the children and their needs before any other parties. The power to investigate financially information provided by either non resident parent or parent with care. The introduction of sever penalties for non compliance in assessment procedure.
In short a system that works to protect the financial rights of the child/children within a reasonably and realistic time frame that is fair to all parties in it's application of assessment and collection of monies due.
