Petition Action

Curb the power and influence of unelected government senior advisors

Petition Details

Unelected senior advisors are undermining the credibility of the UK government. Introduce legislation to regulate their role and mandate their compliance with ALL government recommendations.

Additional Information

Unelected senior advisors should have their powers and influence regulated and restricted, and the government should not be allowed to hide what these people do.
The current government seems to consider that it is acceptable for these advisors to ignore rulings laid down in the interests of the nation's health, wealth and wellbeing. This is grossly undemocratic.
