Ban disposable BBQ’s

Petition Details

Ban and remove the sale of disposable BBQ’s

Additional Information

We are aware of abandoned smouldering BBQ's being reported at Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Linford, Millyford Bridge, Balmer Lawn, Wilverley and Woodlands over the past 2 days. There are probably many more that we don't know about.

Disposable barbecues burn the ground, cannot be recycled or composted and are extremely un-environmentally-friendly. Disposable barbecues give off carbon monoxide when being used and continue to do so until they are completely cold and as we know this is poisonous.
