Give all key workers the proper payrise they deserve
Through this terrible pandemic, the key workers of this country have kept us going , whilst everyone else has been in lockdown.
They have worked extra hours and harder than the rest of us for significantly lower wages due to them being classed as unskilled.
Society owes them reward .
Not a medal
Because it's the right thing to do , these workers have always kept the country going but until now have been badly under paid.
We cannot function without them.
Why should they have to suffer such appalling wages to do the jobs nobody else wants to do.
The government has been cutting back on local authority funds for over 10 years now and it is reflected in the poor , poor wages of the staff.
Inflation is 10% higher than where their wages should be.
Its disgusting that they are paid so badly
