Return to the Pschiatric nursing System available in the 1970,s where everyone with a Mental illness was cared for appropriately, including people suffering from Alzheimers, although caused by physical problems brought along with it mental illness status. nurses were trained in-school , not in Universities and gained their experience through on the wards with senior nurses teaching them.. I was such a nurse and was promoted to a ward sister at the age of 21.
