Extended the Self Employment Income Support Scheme
We ask for the Self Employment Income Support Scheme to be extended to bring it in line with the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (currently extended to August 2020).
There are a number of industries who are still unable to work due to government guidelines, namely the leisure, hospitality, tourism and events industries.
The summer months are particularly important to many of these industries and to receive no income/support during this time will have a marked effect on their annual salary. The tourism and events sectors are particular busy during these months and many in these industires are self employed.
