This petition calls for an amendment to the current legislation concerning strikes and industrial action.

There should be a minimum of 14 working days notice as to when a strike is to take place. This would enable customers or affected parties to seek alternatives whether its travellers using airlines or airports, logistics organisations, hauliers and car drivers with diesel or petrol provision, or parents and their employers when lecturers or teachers go on strike.

It may also benefit trade union members who have a grievance.
