Review the Self Employment Covid Grant to Include 2019-20 tax year.
To review the support offered for self employed workers, currently there is no grant or furlough for the sector of workers that have only been self employed for the last 18months, review this years Tax returns so this sector also has support, even if it is at the year end.
The newly self employed are one of the most vulnerable, we have put all we have into starting up our businesses, we are financially drained and are at bigger risk of losing everything.
I was employed until 16 months ago when I started up on my own, if I was still in that job I would of received 80% furlough, if I was self employed through all of 2018 I would of received 80% grant, because I was 50% in each I get nothing.
