This country no longer has confidence in the prime minister.
Debate a motion of no confidence in this government.
The revelations concerning the activities of the prime minister's chief adviser during the lockdown period, and the subsequent absence of coherent explanation, has reinforced the impression that this government is economical with truth and very poorly led.
This follows the dubious application of truth during the period leading to the UK's withdrawal from the European Union, and the cumulative effect that this 'devil may care' and, frankly, sloppy attitude to the most important matters of our time, is having on corroding trust in the greatest offices of state.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.
If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
