Official inquiry into whether Mr Cummings has breached the civil service code.
The government should launch an immediate official inquiry into the recent events involving the PM's special adviser leading to the Rose Garden press conference. Does this constitute a breach of the civil service code?
It is essential for an open and transparent investigation to take place in order to restore the people's confidence in the government's public health advice and guidance.
