Write off all debt up to end of july 2020 to enable business and individuals to start a fresh and rebuild the economy. This is classed as war debt

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Cancelling debts owed would be a matter for individual creditors, not the UK Government or Parliament.

You may wish to sign this petition: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/305297

We could accept a petition calling on the Government to encourage banks to cancel loan repayments, if this is something you would like to see happen. However this would still be a decision for individual banks.
