As Dental Nurses we’re the lowest paid Dental Professionals. Raise wages £15 hr
Make it compulsory for Dental Nurses pay to reflect the hard work and responsibilities of the job. After all Dentist can’t work without us.
Too many Dental Nurses are being exploited. The wages do not reflect the job which has changed over many years with more responsibilities and extra task and it’s time we are brought up to date with other Dental Professionals.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Dental nurses are usually employed directly by dental practice owners, so decisions about dental nurses' terms and conditions of employment, including pay, are a matter for practice owners, and not the Government or House of Commons.
You could start a petition calling for the Government to increase the pay band for dental nurses employed directly by the NHS, if this something you would like to happen.
