Keep The Virtual Parliament as an option for MPs unable to attend HoC in person

Petition Details

We the People, would like the concept and implementation of a Virtual Parliament to remain until such time as it is no longer needed. We still believe it is needed!

Additional Information

Jacob Rees-Mogg has indicated that he is to discontinue the Virtual Parliament as “It is no longer needed”. But that simply isn’t the case, as due to personal or COVID-19 related reasons, some MPs are unable attend to the HoC in person.

We as constituents need to have our MPs heard in the HoC regardless!

Jacob Rees-Mogg has said “ If Parliament is to deliver on the people’s priorities it must sit physically.”

This is not the case and does further damage to the relationship of Voters and MPs.
