Extend Covid-19 grants to rural businesses exempt from business rates

Petition Details

Allow rural businesses that are exempt from business rates; such as retail plant nurseries; to access the £10000 or £25000 COVID-19 grants.

Additional Information

In order to save British Horticulture we, as an industry, need some financial support. Many cannot furlough staff as either they are owner-operated, or the staff are needed to keep the plants alive for potential future sales.
