No Internet, Email, Text Government Monitoring
We reject the proposals of the home office to allow GCHQ to monitor all calls, texts, emails and website visits of every UK citizen. We also reject the idea of the content of calls, emails, and website visits being looked at, if a warrant is granted.
We feel that these proposals, similar to those proposed in 2006, are an infringement of civil liberties, that goes beyond the steps needed to stop terrorism and crime.
We respectfully request that the proposals are withdrawn immediately, and that they do not feature in any future government legislative agenda.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
