Teach Black history and Britain’s history of racism in all schools
Real British history needs to be taught, not just the good aspects. We need to educate people in schools on the history of Racism in Britain including, but not limited to, its role in the slave trade, colonisation and race riots. This needs to be implemented nationwide.
British history has been censored in our education system and we aren’t taught enough about Britain’s racism in the past but black people and ethnic minorities are still living with the effects of historical racism and oppression. We need the real history of Britain to be taught (not just the good aspects) so that we can understand racism today and the systems that uphold it.
