Petition Action

Reinstate remote electronic voting for MPs until all lockdown is fully lifted.

Petition Details

Re-establish full representation of citizens, through their MPs, by Immediately reinstating the system of remote attendance of MPs to the commons & also facilitate their ability to vote using electronic systems until lock down is fully lifted.

Additional Information

The vote on 2 June disenfranchised all citizens who’s MPs are unable to attend the House of Commons because of lockdown or COVID related health conditions. This is Anti-democratic and unacceptable. The rest of the UK has learned to operate remotely, Parliament needs to do the same (leading by example).
