Allow Chester Zoo to re-open to the Public
We would like the Government to consider allowing Chester Zoo to re-open as they are a huge outdoor park and have measures in place to comply with social distancing rules. The zoo is a very important educational facility and it's total loss would be devastating to the public and animal conservation.
Chester Zoo is not only a zoo. It is part of worldwide animal conservation and is crucial in preventing the extinction of thousands of endangered species. The zoo is currently experiencing crippling debt due to Coronavirus and have not been given permission to open. Many beaches, parks and other public areas have been flocked by thousands of people as lockdown rules ease but with no way of controlling social distancing. Chester Zoo have measures in place to keep the public safe.
