Allow UK wildlife centres to open

Petition Details

Allow UK Zoos, aquariums and wildlife sanctuaries to open in line with Covid-19 safety measures

Additional Information

Wildlife sanctuaries in the UK are struggling financially due to having no visitors during the lockdown. Many of these organisations occupy acres of outside space and have the room and capacity to allow visitors in whilst maintaining social distancing. They have also all planned to reopen and have safety measures in place such as limiting numbers or booking time slots, however have been told try cannot open. Meanwhile, much less safe areas like garden centres and shops are being allowed to open.
