Allow Chester Zoo to open, or allow them access to the Zoos Support Fund
Allow Chester Zoo to reopen. They have been working hard to ensure their 128 acres of outdoor space is covid secure, but you say they cannot open. Yet beaches and parks and private ticketed gardens can open. Chester zoo can maintain numbers and social distancing.
The zoo contributes over £83.1 million to the regional economy, they support over 1700 jobs and protects wildlife in more than 30 countries. They are not able to access the Zoos Support Fund and they need £1.6 million per month to support endangered species. If you are refusing to allow them to open, then financially support them by allowing them access to the Zoos Support Fund.
