Petition Action

Keep Chester Zoo open

Petition Details

Not to let Chester Zoo stay closed ‘indefinitely’

Additional Information

Chester Zoo is the city’s number one visitor attraction and closure will badly affect the local economy. The lives of hundreds of animals will suffer or be terminated.

City MP has written to the Government and I quote,

"City MP Chris Matheson has written to the Government asking them to reverse a decision not to allow Chester Zoo to reopen despite putting stringent safety measures in place.

The city’s number one visitor attraction says the move has ‘thrown the future of the zoo into doubt’."
