Save Our Zoo’s

Petition Details

I want the government to reconsider their decision on adding zoo’s to the list of venues that are to remain closed indefinitely. Without visitors zoo’s are unable to survive and could be forced to close permanently. This would be a huge devastation and great loss to the United Kingdom.

Additional Information

I refer to both Chester and Twycross Zoo who have both reported significant debts that mount up to millions of pounds. Zoo’s provide so much support not only to wildlife and the environment, but also through the conservation projects that they carry out. Without immediate support our zoo’s are in great danger of becoming extinct themselves. I strongly urge you to reconsider your decision as a matter of urgency, before it’s too late.
