Petition Action

Immigration and working visas

Additional Information

I urge the Government to look into an issue which was created by the previous Labour Government where by, they granted Foreign Workers, Working visas to work here in the UK for so many months, years, and they are still here. The NHS, for example, is rife with the problem, Newly Qualified, UK Nurses and unemployed as these "Foreign workers" should have gone, best still, some have now applied for British Citizanship, essentially blocking nursing posts. These should be reversed dating back to 1997 as to create the necessary vacancies for UK citizens, regardless of sector.
