Funding for an emergency homeless shelter in West Lothian, Scotland.
Create an emergency shelter for people facing homelessness in West Lothian. West Lothian Council cannot handle the amount of people in need of emergency accommodation and are having to send people to Edinburgh which cannot handle the overflow.
This problem is increasingly becoming more obvious and there is not enough help readily available.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Housing is devolved to Scotland so this is a matter for your local authority and the Scottish Government.
The Scottish Parliament has its own Public Petitions Committee. You can find out how to petition the Scottish Parliament here: www.parliament.scot/gettinginvolved/petitions/CreateAPetition.aspx
