Ban the Police's Use of Horses against Protesters
To ban the use of horses by Police during protests in order to protect the safety of the public and the welfare of the animals.
Police forces in the United Kingdom regularly use horses to control protests. The safety of the public is put at risk by this.
Furthermore, horses are often subject to injury and put in frightening situations. Even a well-trained horse can react unpredictably when in a hostile situation, which is often instigated by the Police.
Protest is a legitimate tool for making voices heard. However, it is evident that the use of police horses puts all involved at risk unnecessarily.
