Petition Action

Ban the use of horses by police force in protests and riots.

Petition Details

Stop the use of horses in protests and riots.
Videos of protests in London show horses being injured and police officers getting injured. The only way we can be sure that horses are not injured during protests and riots; is to exclude them from current and future Police Methods of riot control.

Additional Information

Often horses are used to control riots and protests. This means that Horses are often subjected to frightening scenes, and they are often targeted by the public.
Horses have been injured and attacked, due to the public and Police conflict. Horses are easily scared. They are being used as weapons. They are being used to threaten people. When people feel threatened then there will be a negative reaction. Lots of people on social media are upset and disagree that horses should be exposed to this.
