Give Year 10 and 12 predicted grades as their results next year
Year 10s and 12s have missed out on so much learning therefore would be unfair for them to sit exams without learning all the content properly as almost a third of this years content has been online which does not teach students very well.
I think a lot of student with struggle in exams and also there will be even more stress and anxiety around exams next year than usual. This means exam results will be low and students mental health will plummet. Giving them predicted grades gives them the time to learn the content without stress which will actually mean they understand the work they are learning more and not miss out on the grades they could get because they’ve missed so much school and lesson time.
