Decimalise the inch, foot, and yard.
Change the definition of the inch from 2.54cm to exactly 2.5cm, change the definition of the foot from 30.48cm to exactly 30cm, and change the definition of the yard from 91.44cm to exactly 90cm.
Although we as a nation officially use the metric system, tens of millions of people across the country still use these imperial measures. This makes sense; they are useful as intermediate measurements. However, they are very awkwardly defined. I propose that we make small adjustments to them to allow for easier conversions and use.
