Harsher sentences for desecration of war memorials and symbols of remembrance.
War memorials were erected for remembering the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedom. They are not there to glorify war ,but to commemorate those who died or were injured in the a war.
Whatever political, religious or ethnic issues people may have, their argument cannot be with the fallen heroes of another generation. Sacrifices made by so many for freedom needs to be remembered and war memorials play a vital role in ensuring this continues , Harsher sentences should be given to those that decide to disrespect or vandalise any of these memorials.
