Remove all UK statues or similar noting profiteers of slavery/human exploitation
Demonstrate that slavery and exploitation has no place in our society by removing or renaming any public street furniture or monuments which celebrate or note the achievements of those who have profited from these practices in the past.
I believe it is an important step to demonstrate to society globally what modern Britain stands for and to show that we are not prisoners of our past actions.

Decisions about individual historical monuments, statues, plaques and street names are a matter for the local authority in which they are located and private landowners, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you want to raise concerns about a particular historical monument or statue you should contact your local authority about this.
