CALL FOR GOVERNMENT TO PAY NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE TO BENEFIT CLAIMANTS TAKING UP WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Additional Information

Although government state that they are dedicated to helping unemployed citzens get back into work they have as yet failed to show the benefits that come with it.

I say its time government recognise their very statement and call on them to live up to the promise of making work pay, even work experience/training based at employers businesses.

By signing this Epetition, not only are we incentivising the unemployed to the value of work but we are also securing currently held employed positions that have come under fire as a result of the introduction of such schemes as the Mandatory Work Activity and workfare.

DEMAND A NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE ACROSS THE BOARD.
