Make the study of the British Empire (+crimes) compulsory in Secondary Schools
Make it compulsory for teenagers to study the British Empire, negatives and positives, it’s lasting impact till today, it’s crimes against ethnic minorities. Also, the involvement of the British in the slave trade which comes under the British Empire topic.
Millions of Black, Asians and ethnic minorities call Britain their home. They are 3rd, 4th and even 5th generation Brits, however the education system fails every single one of them. It is compulsory to learn about WWI because of its impact and importance - the British Empire is also very significant. Children are uneducated leading to them growing up to being ignorant racists. British Children deserve to know where they came from.
