Petition Action

lower the grade boundaries for 2021 and bring back coursework

Petition Details

Lower the grade boundaries for all GCSE and A-Level examinations for the academic year of 2021 and bring back course work for all GCSE and A-Level subjects to enable students to access the curriculum better without as many mental health conditions before examinations.

Additional Information

Because of the Coronavirus, many students have missed out on a significant period of their education and this means they would not do as well in their exams. Schools are not required to teach subjects in a set order so by removing some sections of the course students may be at a disadvantage. We also need coursework in 2021 examinations to make grades fair and we need coursework back long term also.
