Owner Registration of Caravans

All caravans should carry their own registration number plate additional to the one corresponding to the vehicle towing it - When a caravan is stolen it would then flag up on police ANPR systems as stolen - currently a caravan is only recognisable by its chassis number which can only be checked by the police after they have stopped it - The caravans dedicated registration plate would be secured to the rear of the caravan in such a way as to make it impossible to be removed
