Save our statues and monuments.
Historical statues and monuments are part of British history and heritage, good and bad.
To remove these is a denial of our history. Air brushing over history has never resulted in anything positive, it creates confusion which potentially leads to more problems than the monument represents.
Because these monuments belong to the British people, no 'group' or political movement should decide the fate of these monuments over the democratic process our nation has been so proud of, and in parts regret. If there are no regrets, what do we actually learn?
Education is key here, warts n all.
If anyone is trying to rewrite history or delete it then we are no longer a democratic nation.
