Allow zoos to reopen
Zoos across the country are facing financial crisis without paying customers. As shops open across the country, and people are allowed outside whilst social distancing, the zoos need to be allowed to reopen to save the animals.
Zoos are facing financial crisis without the income of customers. The animals still need feeding and they are now at the point of having to consider having animals euthanised because the lack of income will not cover the cost of feed. This is not an acceptable situation. The government deem it fit for horse racing to restart, and for shops such as Ikea to open, yet zoos are being forced to stay closed indefinitely. This needs to change.
