Ensure statues to Sir Winston Churchill stay, protect these and all from damage
To retain the statues/monuments to Churchill without further threat of removal, and to ensure the protection of all our treasured statues/ monuments from further vandalism and disrespect.
To ensure all of society chooses to remove or add statues/monuments, not one group
The events of the last few days have shown up the vulnerability of the statues/monuments of important and treasured figures and events of British and international history. The respect and restraint which kept them safe is no longer present, neither from vandalism nor politics.
The wishes of the majority in a democracy should determine what happens, regarding evidence and commemorations of history, past or future and locally or nationally, depending on public importance or knowledge

Decisions about individual historical monuments, statues, plaques and street names are a matter for the local authority in which they are located and private landowners, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you want to raise concerns about a particular historical monument or statue you should contact your local authority about this.
