Fighting for and with Danielle. We want the age of cervical smear testing reduced to 20yrs.
Danielle is 21 and presented to her GP with symptoms and was refused a smear due to her age. Danielle has since been diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and has less than 15% chance of survival.
In Scotland, Wales and Northen Ireland the age is 20 and we want to have the age of cervical screening lowered from 25yr to 20yrs in the UK.
