Save British Heritage by protecting monuments of historical characters.
Stop a knee-jerk reaction to the "Black Lives Matter" campaign from destroying monuments, which may include works of art such as statues, paintings, and sculptures of historical figures.
Whatever crimes or actions of historical figures may, quite understandably, be considered heinous by today's standards, history cannot be re-written by destroying works of art by way of apology.
By taking such destructive action to appease or excuse the part played by our predecessors sets an extremely dangerous precedent.
For example:
Many of our cathedrals contain tombs of crusaders, whose actions, might well offend our Muslim communities. Should these be destroyed as well?
