Windrush Scandal – Increase levels & speed of compensation
There have been 1275 compensation claims since the scheme was launched. Only 60 claimants have been paid, just over £360,000, an average of just £6,000 per claimant. This is an unacceptable level of payment for the trauma and loss that these victims have wrongfully been subjected to.
