Lower the voting age to 16
Lower the voting age to 16 to allow 16 and 17 year olds to vote in all elections that anyone 18 and up are allowed to vote in such as general elections and referendums.
16 and 17 year olds are often as mature and capable as people 18 and up at forming opinions and making decisions about politics. Conservative party members as young as 15 can vote in Conservative party elections so surely that means young people are mature enough to vote in other elections
