This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand that you are concerned about racial inequalities in the workplace, but it's not clear what you want the Government to do about this.

It is already against the law for public or private entities to discriminate against people because of your race, which includes your colour, or your nationality (including your citizenship). It can also mean your ethnic or national origins, which may not be the same as your current nationality.

We have published a number of petitions calling on the Government to take actions to tackle discrimination and racial equality in the workplace, which you might like to sign:

Introduce Mandatory Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/300105

Make Anti-Racism training mandatory in all UK workplaces: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/324896

Implement recommendations from previous reports into racial inequality in the UK: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/327671

Set up a national enquiry into racial inequality in all areas of UK life: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/326353

If you want the Government to take an action that isn't covered by the above petitions you could start a new petition about this, but it would need to be clear what action you want the Government to take.
