Introduce Compulsory books on Systemic Racism in the Education System.
I want the government to introduce:
• Mandatory training for teachers on labelling and prejudice in the Education System.
•Compulsory books on white privilege, systemic racism and British Colonial History in the Education System.
What I experience on a daily occurrence is different from what was taught in the history books. Whilst book glorified the World War 1, Great Fire of London, a lot of important history was missed out!
This has now led to individuals being misinformed and ignorant as a result of not understanding important factors such as White Privilege and Systemic Racism. Therefore, we as a society must take it upon us to educate individuals in order for them to be well informed and tackle these issues.
