Do not remove Lord Baden-Powell's statue from Poole and instead protect it.
Lord Baden-Powell is most famous for founding the scouting movement. This has contributed in a positive way to millions of children, worldwide, of every race, colour and religion for over 100 years. We want the government to ensure that it is not removed and is instead protected.
Please sign this petition so that the government have to debate the statues removal in parliament. They have the power to ensure that it is not removed and protected,

Decisions about individual historical monuments, statues, plaques and street names are a matter for the local authority in which they are located and private landowners, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you want to raise concerns about a particular historical monument or statue you should contact your local authority about this.
