Minimum 5 years imprisonment for anyone assaulting an emergency worker
Assaults on our emergency workers should be severely punished with a minimum sentence of 5 years to act as a deterrent we the British public have had enough of seeing our heroes assaulted its time the government acted and gave the emergency services the support they so desperately need
Our emergency services have been hailed as heroes during the covid pandemic yet now in the midst of it we are seeing police officers been assaulted on a daily basis while trying to maintain order.
Enough is enough it’s time a suitable deterrent was in place and an example made of anyone who assaults an emergency worker wether they be a police officer fireman paramedic or worker in the NHS
