Implement recommendations in the PHE review of impact of Covid-19 on BAME people

Petition Details

The Government should implement recommendations 4 and 7 set out in Public Health England’s review of the impact of Covid-19 on BAME communities, which call for:

Additional Information

- the accelerated development of culturally competent occupational risk assessment tools to help reduce employees’ risk of catching Covid-19, especially for key workers
- action to ensure that COVID-19 recovery strategies actively reduce inequalities caused by the wider determinants of health to create long term sustainable change. Fully funded, sustained and meaningful approaches to tackling ethnic inequalities must be prioritised.
