Halt the supply of crowd control/riot ammunition to the US
According to criterion two of the Consolidated EU and National Arms Export Licensing Criteria, the UK is obligated to not grant a license if there is a clear risk that the items might be used for internal repression.
The US is currently very clearly demonstrating internal repression, as its police force is displaying unprovoked acts of aggression on peaceful protesters using ammunition likely supplied by the UK (the UK has licensed £18 million worth of ammunition to the US since 2010). Ammunition supplied by the UK includes smoke/pyrotechnic ammunition, smoke canisters, crowd control ammunition, CS hand grenades, tear gas/irritant ammunition, riot control agents.
We are under obligation to prevent this!
