Make police body cameras mandatory during all public-interactive duties.
To increase police accountability and general ability to critically review incidents all police should be required to wear personal recording equipment during interaction with the public. This should form the primary basis of evidence where possible in any internal investigation or prosecution.
Given the global political climate it is clear law enforcement need to innovate and adapt. To combat issues within law enforcement making bodycameras a requirement would increase accountability, act as a driving force to ensure proper conduct and allow public complaints to be investigated swiftly and objectively.
