Change the Curriculum to include information on Churchill and the Bengali Famine
Update the UK National Curriculum to include mandatory education on 1943 Bengali Famine and the role Winston Churchill played in it.
Churchill is often remembered for us role during WW2, and his actions that brought victory. Churchill was not a perfect figure in history, and was responsible for the deaths of millions during the Bengali Famine. It is important for all generations to be aware that while he did good for society, he was also responsible for the deaths of millions.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The National Curriculum already allows secondary schools to teach about the British Empire, with a depth study of India for example, in History at Key Stage 4: www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-curriculum-in-england-history-programmes-of-study/national-curriculum-in-england-history-programmes-of-study.
